Karla from Louisana
Karla's Stake President asked her to make a quilt for a dearly loved, long time resident couple in their stake who would be moving to another state. Karla had never quilted before but decided to be obedient, have faith, and do her best. A woman who deserves our respect and admiration. She asked each ward to send in a block for the couple. Karla made the Dallas Temple(the temple they used to go to), In the Grove, Baptism and the Baton Rouge Temple squares. The other wards sent in the blocks showing a young women torch, spaghetti dinner, and other beautifully embroidered squares. What an undertaking, and did I say she had never quilted before!!!! Go Karla!
